There are a few items that I would like to make you all aware of regarding the early course opening:
- Tee markers are being refurbished by the manufacturer and will not be available for the start of the season. We expect the markers to be here around the 20th of March. Please use the front portion of the tee box of your choice. In the past we have place markers for the Green, White, White/Yellow and the Yellow course. This season we will place markers for the Black, Green, White, Blue, and Yellow course. The Blue course will replace the yellow/white combo course and will be only slightly longer. The Black course will be available as well for those who would like to play from the tips. We hope that having five different courses available will help to make better use of existing tees and give our membership the opportunity to play the course that suits them best. Thanks for you patients as we wait the arrival of our tee markers.
- Please help us limit unnecessary damage to the golf course as the turf is not able to recover naturally until ground temperature rise enough for growth to begin.
- Please keep carts on the path only and avoid driving on turf along the path
- RELACE Divots
- Replace all turf possible from divots taken from any area.
- Press replaced turf into void firmly with your foot.
- Fill remaining voids with divot mix on FAIRWAYS and TEES only.
- Repair Ball Marks using the Pinch Pro tool available in the golf shop.
- Please review the proper ball mark repair technique on the "How to" section of our blog at glenoaksgrounds.blogspot.com
- Please use Mats only on the driving range tee.
